Installation for PC :  Unzip and place all files into your MyDocuments / MyGames / Unreal Tournament 3 / UTGame / Published / CookedPC / CustomMaps folder.  You may have to create the CustomMaps folder yourself first if it doesnt exist

You DaMan! This is going to be really fun to play again. I noticed a small area with no texture when you climb the stairs to get above the cores but that is not worth the trouble of fixing really.

This map is on the server and available via USucc.

a new version of this map will be out soon (V2). i was wondering what i should do about the vehicle situation at center... should i keep 1 bender? maybe replace one with a manta? as it stands now there are just 2 scorpions at center. let me refresh your memories... 

core vehicles: 

1 manta, 1 bender, 2 scorpions

prime vehicles:

1 bender, 2 scorpions

center vehicles: 2 scorpions, 2 benders

tank node vehicles:

1 tank, 1 paladin, 2 mantas

 

FIX LIST:

*added node teleporter at tank node

*added 2 sets of teleporters in the parking garage (takes you from bottom to 3rd floor and vice versa)

*added blocking volumes around fenced in container areas (no more getting stuck inside)

*changed collision on fence around parking garage to block all but weapons (or do people like it blocking weapon fire?)

*added tank blocking volumes around prime nodes ( :p )

*fixed player starts

*changed bio rifles in weapon lockers to shock rifles

*fixed missing textures  

*added pressure pads that lower/raise the wall in front of cores (as long as someone is standing on the pad the wall will stay down)
  (this is just an idea now... if people like it i will keep it)

*many other little cosmetic fixes... etc, etc

 

If there's anything else you'd like to see in this map please post...

Cool! I vote for 1 Nemesis at center and no Benders at prime... make the Bender whores bring 'em all the way from core. Also see if you can make it so you can smoothly hoverboard up the steps and through the small side doors at center so you can come flying in from prime with a hover jump.

i'm still undecided about these vehicles. i guess i don't have to keep the axon theme... hmmmm. i wouldn't mind getting rid of the benders at prime either. maybe using the exact (or closer to) downtown setup would work:

cores: 1 bender, 1 manta, 2 scorps
primes: 2 scorps
center: 1 bender (or nemesis), 2 scorps 
stand alone: 1 tank, 2 mantas, 1 paladin

other ideas: adding track turrets on the road that run from the cores to the primes 

 

as for the steps to center... i've made it a little smoother but the problem now is hitting your head in the doorway. i'll have to make the doorways a little bigger...

---  I suggest replace bender with extra manta, as I haven't seen anyone use the bender

prime vehicles:

1 bender, 2 scorpions

---  I suggest replace bender with manta, and also remove 1 scorpion, leaving 1 scorpion and 1 manta.

center vehicles:

---  I suggest leave 1 bender, or replace with nemesis.

I sort of agree with making it similar to Downtown in terms of vehicles.  Maybe the Bender at center can be overwhealming since there's walls surrounding the node and vehicle spawn points.  Nemesis is more offensive... it could poke it's head up and shoot through the door at enemy prime.  But I could live with a Bender at center since there's doors at every side for people to peck at it.
