If anybody has any suggestions on what needs to be changed or removed from this map please let us know. Otherwise I think this puppies pretty much final. Thoughts?

this mesh looks out of place because it comes down outside of the cabinet:

maybe slide it up into the cabinet more. You may have to adjust the size of your BSP shelves then. If you want me to do it just set me up with an uncooked version.

Yeah I thought it would help people that didnt know how to get to that closet node using the teleporters. I put a jump boot pickup right underneath the ledge there.  The thing is if I move that piece up , you wont be able to jump boot up there. anu sugeestions?

I didnt know there were jump boots there and a reason behind it ;)

what you could do is something like this:

the handles on the lower doors are the toilet handle. People could jump boot to those then jump boot again to get to lowest shelf of the cabinet. Or instead of jump boots you could put a jump pad down on the floor that shoots you up to the cabinet.

Thats a great idea!!! Im not to sure about the jump pad  but using jump boots to get to the handle then to the bottom shelf sounds awesome. thx Dirty!!! Ill be sure to include this in the final version

why make it so difficult to get up there? you're already tank fodder standing there. just add a jump pad. you just want to keep your secret.

yeah I see your point. You are pretty much dead meat when the tanks are there so maybe a jump pad isnt such a bad thing to put there. Do you guys also think that I should remove some of the tanks in the map? I was thinking to remove one of them at the core and the one that spawns at center

this is a little of topic but pacer when you get a chance I need you to show me how to compress the maps so I can update the server when your not around. Im not sure if you already updated the server  but Im dying to try the "GOO GUN" in Royal, DeathDome, Masterbath,Containment and Gunshop :)

Killa  this version gave me the "Envy Level Effects 2 mismatch version error! I removed the download link for now and Pacer removed the map from the server. What the FFFF!!!!!????

im not reinstalling ut3 again... its gotta be something with the server. how can some people join  but others cant? rizer and some other map had the same issues so it cant be me... shits driving me nuts!!!!

Dakilla - back up your Envy Level Effects file and then copy one from someone it works for.  Can't hurt right?

Pacer I uploaded the newest version that i cooked so we can test it out on the server. I hope this works!!!

I suggest you do new version, WAR-GOW_MasterBath-NCE (No Cheat Edition), that makes you run across the middle area when warping from closet to closet. So the warp below your closet node takes you near where the tank spawns at center, then you need to run across to the other side where the scorps spawn to warp over to the enemy closet. That way you have to take a risk to get over to the enemy closet. As it is now, it messes up the dynamic of a crossfire-ish node layout when you can get from one crossfire node to the other in two seconds.

this was a blast last night.... Theres so many different roles you can take in this map: sniper, tank whore, manta whore, etc, that you can do it doesnt get boring.

so people who have map knowledge are cheaters?  do you think it's easy getting that e prime up with 2 tanks waiting to blow you to bits? not to mention the turret, mine layer, bio grenades, redeemers, snipers, etc...

IMO the map plays well. it would be almost impossible to capture that e prime if you took away that route. but i'm always open to more suggestions.

one thing a wish we did was include a map of the teleporter paths. in the 2k4 version there's a little teleporter map under the sink. it's very frustrating being the only one on the team who knows how to get to the closet node...

it took me a while and I had to spectate a few times to get the node warp down, but now that I know it, it's a simple matter of jumping about 6 times to get around the map, but you can still destroy the node and get killed by tanks at the closet nodes not to mention the fact i still need to remember how to get to the demer there are plenty of weapons in the weapon lockers to take down the nodes and even from a distance, just watch the mini map and keep up the nodes, or knock them down, Pacer I realize that you have a family and playing UT3 is precious time to you, but take a little more time, spectate if you need to and learn the map :) I'll play any custom map, and if it licks me, I'll watch someone and get better for next time

I know the map well enough to know that it takes far less time for the other team to get to your closet node than it takes for your team to get there. Basically it boils down to dedicating one tank to keeping enemies out of your closet. You guys just need to come out of the closet... that's all I'm saying. :-)

Why it's just so much fun being in the closet?! ROFL! At least until you get fragged by the Goliath.
