this map looks like i spilt my bag of weed on my screen...

I tried installing this mod for my PS3 but was not successful because the PS3 froze during Unpacking Mod. Is this a known issue with this mod?  Please note that I do not have any custom characters in My Content.

Sometimes it could be. MAke sure you remove any versions of the map If u had any at all from ur ps3, then re-download the file and try again. If it still happens let us know and I will try and find you a working version

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly - I certainly do appreciate it!  I would be very grateful if you could find me a working version.  Please note that I never had any earlier or other versions of this map at all. Second, I've already been able to successfully install several Custom VCTF maps on my PS3 already. I've noticed that a "download progress dialog box" normally opens up after I've clicked on the download link, clicked Save in the File Download dialog box and clicking Save in the Save As dialog box. This download progress dialog box will show a progress bar and will also state the following: __ % of USERDATA.JAM from ut3gow.com.  I did not see such a dialog box (showing the % of progress) this time - which makes me guess that the USERDATA.JAM  file is somehow corrupted. Would you please try clicking on the download link and verify what I'm saying?

Also, either you or I would need to provide Tailsnake and TheDemonSlick on the Custom VCTF Server [PS3] thread with any updated links for a properly working version of SkyTown.  Here is the link to this thread: http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=613651

Sometimes from gow you get a 63k file, fast. Redownload to the exact same place, you will get a prompt, replace, you will be fine.

@DemonSlick: I followed your instructions and this map still failed to install on my PS3.  It still gets stuck on the "Unpacking Mod" screen.  Can you or one of your friends please verify this problem by attempting to download & install this map on a PS3?

MAke sure you are not just clicking the download link. U should be right clicking it and selecting SAVE AS. Ill check it out and if it truly doesnt work I will upload a new version shortly.

The download file seems fine to me. Its 20 megs. Demon have u had any trouble with this download? Im not at home to import it to my ps3 so if u could do this for me it would be much appreciate. thx slick!

I'm at work too but never had any problems with this. After it froze and you restarted, did you check your map list to see if it is there? It just might be. Also, you can click it right or left, and you should get a prompt to save as.

*** NOOT, maybe once this gets figured out, you could blow out these posts? It's kind of cluttering up the map post. You know what I mean. 

yup ill delete all the problem posts once we get this resolved. Will u test this later though?

Thank you very much for the instructions because they worked!  I've been left-clicking on download links on FileFront for other custom maps & they downloaded fine.  It would never have occurred to me to right-click & left-click on Save As.  Also, I want to thank you for all of the hard work & effort that it must have taken to create this map.  I played it for 10 minutes with bots just to look around & it is gorgeous - especially the waterfall in the middle.  The placement of the flags on those high ledges is quite cool. I enjoyed watching one of the bots on my team use its hoverboard to travel up the long staircases up to a flag. 

Finally, you may want to post your instructions in your first post so that my fellow noobs will also be able to download your cool map. 

Hi Slick!  As you can read from my above post - it finally installed on my PS3.  I never knew about right-clicking the link & then clicking Save As. Thank you for trying to help me out. I appreciate your efforts. Now I'm all set & ready to join you in playing the Custom VCTF maps that are mentioned in Tailsnake's thread on the Epic Forums.  CYA!
