VERY NICE SIIIIIR!!!! wHATS

VERY NICE SIIIIIR!!!! wHATS THE DEAL WITH US LOWERING THE FIRE RATE OR GAMESPEED TO BALANCE OUT THE TEAM LINKING AND TO MAKE IT MORE OF A REWARD FOR WORKING TOGETHER? aNOTHER IDEA THAT ME AND PACER WERE TALKING ABOUT THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE IS INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF LINK AMMO U CAN CARRY TO 200 AND MAKE IT SO U START WITH AN AVRIL AND THE LINK GUN. WHATS THE DEAL WITH THAT PACER? MAYBE IN THE NEXT MOD PACK?

yea... maybe next rev

Yea... I'm still not sure how much to change the weapon speed but I am inclined to reduce it. Please post your opinions here. Starting with the avril is sort of like saying, "don't risk getting in a viper or manta... maybe we also need to make sure it takes two hits to kill a manta.

b.t.w... your Caps Lock key is stuck on.

...

so the translocator will replace the impact hammer? i'm not so sure i like the idea of slowing things down. starting out with link gun with increased ammo sounds good. boosting manta/viper health would def help if we were to start out with the avril. my dream would be having a start with all weapons mod =)

impact is still there

you still have the impact, you just need to cycle through your weapons to get to it... i made it so the translacator and impact hammer are included in your weapon cycle. but they're not in the pop-up circular menu.

i'm not thrilled about never being able to react before i die... it is a combination of weapon speed, lag, and, most importantly, the skill of the opponent. i don't want to change the latter, i can't change the lag, so i need to look at weapon speed. i just think that a solitary guy with a link gun should not be able to take down a manta in less than a second.

ok... so you can view them using prev/next weapon and not with weapon picker of course. so all i gotta do is set translocator to Q... is that how that have it on ASS?

how about increasing vehicle health instead of slowing things down? it's a bit more work i know ;-p But I am willing to try different things. Shall we cut it back to 50%?

transporter is 'Q' by default

It should already be mapped to Q if you're using a keyboard. And the hoverboard is E. That's how they have it on A.S.S... I wanted to keep it consistent.

that's the arms race that doesn't make sense to me... why not just dial back the one thing that's out of balance rather than crank up everything else... it is just much easier to dial back weapon speed. but i hear your vote... you want to keep weapon speed as-is.

slower weapon fire

+1 for slowing down the rate of fire.

It may lead to more aiming, then firing.  Rather than spray and pray fighting.  I would much rather have a more tactical shooting game.  Maybe if you slow it down to the point where holding down the fire button on rockets would have all rockets heat-seeking.  I think that is a fast enough fire rate.  Do ya follow what I'm trying to say?  Right now its real fast to where it is hard to get a triple rocket to heat seek.  Let alone single rocket blasts.
