Are there any custom vehicles (besides CaptainSnarf's) for the PS3?

I don't think so... pretty sure those are the only ones

Thanks for coming last night. i didn't get a chance to be on your team... so i hope those guys were teaching you alright. sorry if things are going a little fast.. its the nature of the game. it would really help if we ran the spectator mod so you can switch from player to player to see what they're doing. anyway hope you had fun and learned something new. cya on the battlefield!

Someone on the Epic Games Forums gave me this download link for a custom vehicle named the LAV III
http://files.filefront.com/VH+LavIIIPS3zip/;12222039;/fileinfo.html
It's a lightly armored vehicle that handles much more smoothly & responsively than the Hellbender or the Scorpion. I tried it in VCTF-Containment & VCTF-Valhara Standard and it worked fine but (for some strange reason) when I tried it in VCTF-Locks - it caused UT3 to totally freeze up. I'll try it on some Warfare maps this weekend & see what happens.

Hi Killa! Your very welcome & I very much enjoyed it. War_Valley was especially enjoyable because of the intermittent snowfall. I'm learning Warfare bit by bit & am especially grateful to ZodiacX for trying to teach me about nodes, cores, & orbs in a separate game afterwards. I appreciate his patience & guidance. He has been gracious enough to offer to go with me into the Campaign in order to teach me more about Warfare. I cannot thank him enough.
Killa, I think that your idea about running the spectator mode sounds very good & I thank you for that suggestion. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's practice.
Are there any tutorials (either text or video) for Warfare on the Internet that you can recommend to noobs such as myself?
i'll ask Noot to run the spectator mod. it only works on a locked server... password will be: GOW (all caps!) people who will be playing eneter the password in lowercase (gow). you also need to leave the room and re-enter after each map. sometimes it wont let you join.. but if you try it enough it should work. it can be a pain but it will really help. check it out -Spectator-
i'll try to find some tutorials... but nothing is better than watching experienced players. here's a few basic tips:
-always watch your mini map (use the zoom if you cant tell if nodes are connected)
-quickness is key: use vehicles to transport your orb carrier, use node teleports to get around the map fast
-always have a avril when on foot
-set your Orders in the game menu to Special Ops: announcer tells you when special pickups are available /or Orb Runner:
respawns you near the orb
-COMMUNICATION: let your teammates know where you are and inform them of incoming enemies
I enjoyed last night's practice - especially piloting a Cicada for the very 1st time.
Questions:
1) How do I zoom the mini-map?
2) How do I set my Orders to Special Ops?
3) Which time zone is the server located? I have a buddy on the Playstation Forums who is thinking of joining in the GOW practices but has experienced a great deal of problems wihen he joins games that have servers in the Pacific time zone.
Glad you had fun!!!
1) How do I zoom the mini-map?
A) To zoom the mini-map press the up directional arrow on your d-pad - helpful when the enemy orb carrier is near your node, and you are defending it.
2) How do I set my Orders to Special Ops?
A) Press the triangle button to bring up orders page, then use square to change orders. Your mini-map now will show the location of Redeemers and Shape Charges, as well as the announcer telling you when they have spawned. Gets annoying when she tells you to grab the Nightshade repeatedly tho. Good way to find the locations of superweapons on maps.

A) The server is hosted by Nootsac and is located in New Jersey on the east coast.
Thank you very much, KillinUGood!
