Super Hi-res screenshots

Found this on epic forums...

Bindings=(Name="F8",Command="togglescreenshotmode" ,Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)
Bindings=(Name="F9",Command="tiledshot",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

By default F8 and F9 are open keys (at least on my game) so just copy and paste into the UTInput file.

While spectating hit F8 first to enter screenshot mode. Then F9 to take the hi res shot. It basically takes like 6 screenshot of differnt parts of your screen then generates a nice pic from all the shots. Mine was putting out like 20mb pictures. Have one set now as a bg on my desktop. try it out!

Re: Super Hi-res screenshots

i've been meaning to try this out. i read somewhere you can enter different values for the number of tiles you want.. like: "tiledshot 8x8".

recording a demo and using the slomo command is also very useful for taking ss

edit: "tiledshot 8" should work the same... i guess you don't need the 8x8 (unless you want to have 2 different values like 8x6 or whatever)

Re: Super Hi-res screenshots

thought i'd post some other useful commands for taking screenshots:

(for instant action)

"god" - god mode

"fly" or "ghost" - allows you to fly around, ghost lets you fly through all geometry ("walk" will bring you back to the ground)

"behindview" - toggle 1st/3rd person view

"playersonly" -  freezes everything except your player

"slomo #" - adjust game speed. example: "slomo .2" (default game speed is "slomo 1")

"pause" pauses game (or just use pause key on keyboard)

thats all i can think of atm. i tried taking a few tiled shots.. this shit is CRAZY! using "tiledshot 8" gave me 13440 x 8400 images :) took a good 5 minutes to take each batch
