Brink- Upcoming game

this game looks pretty cool, check out the videos on this site: http://www.brinkthegame.com/

 

it comes out Q4 2010.... In the last few years I've learned not to hold my breath on the possibility for anything that will rival UT2k4 as far as games go.

 

The atmosphere in Brink, Container City which is slums, is sort of like one of the environments I am working on in UT3:

 

not sure if this will make its way in to a map or anything.

Brink looks pretty cool. Nice concept. I like what they're doing with movement. I hope they don't make it too Call-of-Duty-ish though.

from the Brink devs:

 

  • Mod/Maps tools. Will they be available, if so is there target of when Pre/Post retail release?

We're definitely planning to make this available for PC. It's to early to say whether it'll be pre or post. But I can say we want to get them to you ASAP (hell, would love to give them out today and get you guys helping us with maps! )

 

     *also, player vs player will be 8vs8
