I cant believe I am saying I may possibly be looking forward to a COD game.....

so, are any of you guys planning on getting Black Ops for PC? I'm pretty sure I am going to pick it up, I still cant believe I am going to attempt to get into a COD game Anywho, there will be dedicated server support and a map editor at some point which are big pluses vs MW2.

At this point in my gaming life I have come to a realization that  there most likely wont be an equal replacement for my favorite game ever, UT2k4, and I will just have to settle for something else. I'm sure Black Ops will have the online player numbers to keep me entertained, hopefully the game can do the same.

hopefully Treyarch will fix all the mistakes Infinity Ward made with MW2...  dedicated servers and a map editor is a good start ;)

even though I dislike what I hear about Activision as a company I do like what they are doing with the COD franchise: yearly games, swapping out devs. What if the UT franchise were handled like this? I wouldnt mind if a new UT came out every year, even if the latest version wasnt good at least you know you only have to wait about a year for a new version. Epic seems to have turned into just your typical douchebag american corporation that only cares about $. It would be interesting to see Epic stick to that role and subcontract out the UT franchise to devs that are still interested in being gamers and making a good game for gamers. Maybe People Can Fly should make the next UT. Actually I would like to see Gearbox(Borderlands) make a UT.

Anywho, I am installing the first ever COD game on any computer I have ever owned. I borrowed COD4 Modern Warfare from a friend and intend to give that a go until Black Ops comes out, unless it is completely unbearable to me and I once again retreat to UT2k4
